莫道塞上寒

I have been back in Shanghai for half a month. The weather is so hooooooooot here and I miss the cool air in Sanhe so much. So I just decided to go back to Shandong ASAP-Maybe in two or three days.

The reason why I write something to you at present is that I received so many calls and short messages these days. I would like you to know I am quite well so you don’t have to worry. I will continue my graduate study in September. And the major task for me in the vacation is the preparation for CPA, which will be tested in mid September.

There are still some guys asking me for advice, most about how to improve their English. It is almost impossible to give you the catholicon (which means the kind of medicine that can cure any disease) in a mobile short message or in a few words. You may talk to your new English teacher for more. However, I would like to emphasis again that you should be confident. It’s clear most of you are still lack of self confidence which is so important to success. Just as Rome was not built overnight, you can’t expect your performance improved essentially in just a month or two. But you will succeed if you keep on trying, and if you believe me.

As for you new English teacher now. He is also male with the surname of Wang, and is also from School of Economics. I had dinner with him last week. I didn’t know him at all before, but the dinner made me feel he will be a competent teacher. He is so young-much younger than me and maybe than some of you, I’m afraid. He has caught what we did during the past year, so it won’t be difficult for you and him to cooperate. However, it always takes some time to get along with another teacher. He will try his best to accommodate you, but it’s more important for you to catch him. Definitely he and I are not in the same style (But I’m confident he is much better than me), so those who can adjust in the shortest time will benefit.

I have collected a donation of around 100 English dictionaries recently. You each can get one and put the rest in the library.
